President of Uruguay

I think that it is really cool how he did that because their is a lot of people out their that need help. Also, when do you ever seen a President give 12,500 to charity and only keep 1,250 do that never you have to be real kind hearted to do that. Hes not poor because hes not just working for the lifestyle hes working to help charity and do his job.

What bugs me!!!!

       What bugs me is when people talk with food in their mouths. Also, when people are about to offend me  but, before they do they say no offense. I also, hate it when people will joke around and say there is a spider. Then, I  don't like it when i'm walking down the hall and people will step on my shoes, I mean just go around me. Those are some things that bug me.

Kid Nation 4

                They use Social Dynamics because Greg keeps changing his acts. In the beginning he was nice and helping out with everything. Then, he was a hard worker trying to go for a gold star. After they didn't give him a gold star he started being mean and acting all mad.

               Also, they use Culture because none of these kids do not to know how to live a pioneer life. When they first get their they have to learn how to make their own food and do chores. Also, they all have to work together and bring back the town. The kids have to be taught how pioneers lived their lives back then.


              They do use Norm because all the kids have to follow the rules and have good behavior. Like you have to follow the rule that says no staying up later than 9:30. Also, you have to do your job depending what class you are in. You have to respect the councils and go by their rules.

Kid Nation 3

         They use society in the show because they all are from different states and all states act differently depending on where you live. All the kids have different cultures and different lifestyles. For example, some people are animal lovers and don't want to kill the chicken. Then, the kids are all going crazy over the chicken because they don't want to hurt them but, they need the protein.

        They use Informal sanctions because they get a challenge and if u succeed then you get a reward but, if you don't finish the challenge on time you don't get the reward. Also, who works the most in the week and shows good character you a reward which is a gold star worth 20,000 dollars. If you are nice and help out you get rewarded with respect from others. If you get  the gold star you get to call your parents which is another  reward.

      They use Ethnocentrism because a lot of the kids are judging based on others. For example, the little kids are like the big kids are going to win because they are older and look stronger. Also, everyone pushes and thinks they are better than the yellow team because they are the little kids and think they are better. Then, the kids judge other by saying since hes older then he must be stronger but that's not true, you can be little and still be strong.

My favorite animal...

  My favorite animal is pandas, they are so adorable. Did you know that pandas are about to come extinct? I don't know why people would want to hurt pandas. I love it how they are so small when they are babies, and how they are so furry. Most pandas are black and white and they eat bamboos. The red pandas and giant pandas are found in China and other places too.

Kid Nation 2

    I think that in the show that these kids use class conflict because there are a lot of different kids from different classes all trying to live the pioneer live. Since they all live in different lifestyles its harder for others. Also, on the first day no one is getting along because its the first day and you're meeting new people.

 The leader council use power because they have control over the other kids. The leader council decide all the choices for all the kids.Like how the leaders decided to split the kids in to four groups and who sleeps where. Also, how they are bringing all the kids to work together.

 They use symbol in this show in the beginning of this episode. They all had wore yellow,green,red and blue based on what team you were on. Then you had to take a challenge against the other colors and who ever one who be the upper class then, merchants,cleaning,poor. What ever place your team came in you would have one of those jobs and the color represent what team you were on and job you had.

  Dear Mrs. DeBolt,
         
              I love to Scary movies, my favorite scary movie is Apporition. It's about a girl who stays at her moms house and to find out the house is haunted. The movie isn't that scary, but what really scared me most was that it is based on a true story. My favorite thing to do is draw. I love to draw animals,cartoon characters and etc. I have a big family, I have 3 brothers one half, one step and a real brother. Also, i live with my mom and I have one half sister.

       A few years ago I went on vacation and we went to Florida. We went to some kind of aqurium and you would walk in and there was a huge tank above you with sharks in it. I never been so close to a shark before, I got so scared but my family kept telling me that the shark cant break through the glass. At the end their was a little store and I got a shark tooth.

     Activities I love to do in technology class is to learn new things like learning to start a blog. There is a lot of things I don't  know about technology that I hope I get to learn in this class. I would love to learn how to edit and make cool things on a computer. Those are some things i know or would like to learn in technology.

Do video games make kids violent????

 

I think that video games don't make kids more violent because most of the time in video games are there are make believe things that kids now these days know arn't real. most things in video games are edited and look realistic, but dosn't affect a way a kid should act. The reason we may not have zombie-slaying miners because it might be more intense to kids depending on how its made.
